MITUTOYO at the quality management trade fair CONTROL - Day 1
The year 2016 is a very special one for the Control fair – it is the show’s 30th consecutive year. The first day of the worldwide leading trade fair for quality management saw a large number of visitors to the Mitutoyo booth – boasting 540 square meters of finest metrology instruments and outstanding expertise in the field of dimensional measuring. The booth in distinctive looks in white and orange colour and an open, welcoming atmosphere is segmented into Mitutoyo’s product groups.
A spectacular eye-catcher is the cabin that houses the two large in-line coordinate measuring machines MACH-V and MACH 3A loaded by a robot, which shows impressingly what high precision and large throughput can be achieved with measurement integrated into a production line.
Mitutoyo displays one of the 2016 novelties in a very special way: Three samples of the ABSOLUTE Digimatic Coolant Proof Caliper IP67 are permanently moved and splashed with water – in order to display their ruggedness when it comes to measuring in a production environment.
Last year’s Control show saw the launch of the ground-breaking Quick Image vision measuring system. This year the visitors can experience the one-click trigger system up close by taking a quiz. As a reward the participants are awarded a certificate and a beautiful little gift.
Very prominent visitors from Japan gave an extra importance to the Mitutoyo booth: President Toru Nakagawa, Yoshiaki Numata – Senior Executive Director – and Sadayuki Matsumiya – Senior Executive Director, represented the top management of the world-leading metrology corporation.
